My experience with anything to do with bronzers, fake-tans, spray tans etc… isn’t very big. The main reason is that I am quite the fair lady and tanning and the maintenance of such just doesn’t appeal to me. My tube of this natural/organic gradual bronzer was sitting in my bathroom cupboard for quite some time and I’m wondering what on earth am I supposed to do with this? Luckily for me the instructions on the tube are quite simple – I merely rub this into my skin, (preferably at night) then tuck myself into bed and let it work its tanning magic.
I will admit the scent is quite strong – it’s almost a vanilla-tropical scent but once the fragrance settles down you do get a hint of the typical fake-tan scent coming through – it isn’t too unpleasant – just bearable. It rubs in easily but make sure to work quickly as it dries fast and you don’t want a streaky appearance!
A plus about this custard is that it is a moisturiser too – with botanical oils and vitamins A and E for supple skin. Because this is a “ build-able” bronzer, you get to choose just how dark you want your skin to be. For general tan maintenance and a darker tan I recommend applying every second day until you’re happy.
To conclude, I was quite impressed by this – the tan did indeed look natural and subtle – the packaging is quite gorgeous and I love anything pink so it certainly caught my attention. Although I wouldn’t use this again (I’m happy being fair!) I do recommend this for the other tanning-beauties out there.
