When it comes to trying new products (which I tend to get a little over excited about) I generally like to stick to Australian brands. After all, supporting one’s country is always a good, honest thing to do. Endota Spa fits perfectly into this category being an Australian company so I was more then willing to sample and review this spa-worthy product.
I will admit I was ever so slightly nervous about trying this – the word “glycolic” did frighten me a tad – I had an image in my mind of putting the mask on and taking it off minutes later to find, red, irritated skin but alas, I was wrong.
First things first – it smells lovely. A rich, natural clay scented with essential oils which is quite soothing and relaxing. It is thick in texture and dries almost instantly when put upon skin. Despite the glycolic and clay content, it isn’t drying thanks to the addition of glorious Shea butter ( a very moisturising, skin-loving natural ingredient) and jojoba oil. Rinsing off my skin feels perfectly normal, not dry or tight.
Another plus to this tube of goodness is that it’s multi-purpose – not only is it a mask – but it exfoliates too! The mask also contains tiny spherical beads made of jojoba oil which give a gentle exfoliation when you’re massaging the mask into your skin. A perfect idea for those whom are time poor.
Regular use of this and skin will see an improvement in terms of texture and appearance. If you’re after a luxurious, pampering mask that promises to promote smoother and softer skin, then this may be just what you’re after.
