When I think of the word “mattifying” I automatically picture moisture-drawn, dull dry skin. But before I start to worry about trying this sleek, black compact I feel somewhat reassured that the description states that it includes jojoba oil (which is a truly fabulous oil, by the way. I use this liquid wax daily as a means to remove make-up, moisturise and it’s really quite good for hair too).
It also states to have the benefits of vitamin A, C and E. So not only are you covering your skin in a healthy way – it’s having a little treat too!
This organic powder applies onto skin flawlessly – even more so if you moisturise beforehand – and it instantly helps to cover, camouflage, set and conceal without caking the skin. Another plus is that it does indeed mattify but not in the frightening way that I first thought. Skin is left looking natural with a subtle glow but not at all oily and certainly not dull (thank goodness)
