Over the last couple of weeks my little boy has been seen wearing a Bamboodie from Eco Peko in their shell design. So what’s a Bamboodie? It’s a Hoodie made from Bamboo! But it’s lightweight, like a loose fitting long sleeved t-shirt, only much much softer.
Made from bamboo, it is environmentally friendly. Traditional cotton is subjected to a variety of pesticides, while bamboo is not. Bamboo grows quickly and requires much less water than cotton.
The Bamboodies are nice and roomy for growing babies, and are a good layering piece for the colder months. In spring / summer they can wear them as a regular top and they are hypoallergenic and breathable…exactly what sensitive little bods need.
An added benefit is that the Bamboodie has a high UV rating. This means it is sun friendly, and after splashing in the ocean this summer they will dry off in no time. It will keep them warm in winter and cool in summer.
A cute and comfy trans-seasonal piece that is suitable for both little boys and girls. A Bamboodie will cost you $49.95 and the larger fit means it will last a couple of seasons.
