  1. I love to snuggle up on the lounge with the kids and watch movies and drink hot chocolate

  2. On a rainy day I love to open all the doors and windows so the house is full of the sound of splattering raindrops….and the scent of petrichor. I’ll get comfy on the couch and put on a good movie, boil a cup of tea and supply myself with some Cadbury Chocolate Caramello Block – it feels pretty close to what I think heaven would be like <3.

  3. Love having the window open to hear the rainy, than a blanket, book, hot chocolate, perfect day!

  4. Snuggle up by our wood fire. We pile heaps of big fluffy pillows down in front of the fire, grab a blanket or three and lay down in snuggly comfort. Chatting or reading a book or just dosing off to those mesmerising flickering flames. It’s not hard to enjoy a luxurious nap in the cuddly warmth. And after the kids are in bed – a box of choccies and a fine wine. We have been known to fall asleep here and remain the night. Ahhh, that’s the life!

  7. Bubble bath with Lush delights,
whilst soaking in the candle light.
    Listening to rain pouring down,
then snuggling up in my dressing gown.

  8. Running a bath adding some bubbles, candles and a good book, to make the best ever thing to do on a rainy day! ( I love listening to the rain while in the bath.. perfect)

  9. On rainy days is when I try to tackle my 1000 piece jigsaw with my milk chocolate close by then when I can’t find any more pieces, I grab my latest novel and sit down with a cuppa and just read and read.

  10. Keeping busy keeps me warm
    Love listening to a storm
Light the oven, have a bake up
    Yummy cake to have with…
Hot sweet tea in my favourite cup.
    But for something stronger
    Keeping me warm for longer
Getting warm from the inside out
Christmas in July is a reason to shout…
Rich and spiced a warm mulled wine
Sends warm tingles down my spine.

So when watery clouds puff into the sky,
We love it, we need it, wouldn’t you agree?

After warming coffee with a friend,
We tiptoe back to avoid splashing wheels,
    That appear at every bend.

A project I work on until three,
The workplace vibe upbeat and rosy,
Then some time for my son and me,
Making warming chicken pie, at home, all cosy.
