Lingerie is something that I absolutely adore. Perhaps because it’s so wonderfully feminine, with all the dainty lace, luscious silk and a feeling of being quite luxurious and a little bit sexy. I was most thrilled to come across Madonna Bain, an utterly exceptional eco-friendly lingerie brand.
Madonna Bain (her beautiful range is named after her) creates her masterpieces from her Byron Bay studio. Her love of lingerie started when she was just a teen, where she feverishly worked hard at her sewing machine creating her own designs from second hand slips and recycled fabrics. Now days, she has a very successful brand and takes great pride in having and using organic cottons and sustainable fabrics, all of which are locally sourced.
Take a browse through Madonna’s range and you’ll see what I do – a collection of eco-conscious intimates/day-wear with flattering designs and colours. The latest range (In the Boudoir, images included in this article) has a distinctive, vintage feel to it. Think women from the 1930’s, soft, sensuous and a little touch of glamour.
Madonna’s range is not only designed for women looking for a more earth-friendly option, but also for women looking to embrace and celebrate their bodies.
Visit http://www.madonnabain.com.au to have a peek through the online store and experience the beautiful range. Madonna is also releasing a bridal/honeymoon collection in December, be sure to keep a look out for these.
