Nutra Organics are graciously offering a healthy prize pack for one very lucky Beauty and Lace reader, which just may be your ticket to good health. Super Greens + Reds = a highly concentrated ‘superfood multivitamin’ filled to the brim with nutrient-rich ingredients, pre and probiotics and fortified with an extra dose of vitamins, minerals, herbs and enzymes. Suitable for all ages, Super Greens + Reds is natural, raw, certified organic and an alternative to your daily multivitamin.

Vital Veggie Power = a clever idea for mothers at their wits’ end on how to feed little ones their vegetables. Vital Veggie Power contains 4 vegetables, 1 fruit, 4 super foods and 1 fibre, all formulated in handy powder form that can easily be disguised in your daily foods; whether it be mixed with spaghetti, sprinkled on toast, added to muffins or spooned into juice. I can confirm that this goes down a treat with the young and they’re none the wiser.

  1. My favourite was lasagne which I am sure my mum packed with hidden vegies such as grated zucchini and finely diced mushrooms

  2. My favourite dish was a Nasi Goreng Indonesian Rice dish my mum managed to make, quite a treat after bland, boring Anglo food night after night!

  3. Cheesy macaroni was my best … With tomato sauce and a sprinkle of sugar on top of the melted cheese … My mom used to love making it for me … Xx and her beautiful barley soup which I still crave today … Thick and hot and luscious

  4. Favourite was definately going to my Nan’s house for a baked dinner, best tasting and great memories, nan did gravy to die for ; )

  5. Anything my Nan cooked me but especially roast beef with all the amazing roast veggies which I would only happily eat when she, and she alone would cook them.

  6. My Mum’s Roast Chicken with all of the trimmings. It was a special occasion dinner and I always requested it for my birthday.

  7. My nan baked duck every Sunday when I was little to this day it is my favourite dish ..makes me think of my nan 🙂

  8. I loved my grandma spag bog. She never hid any vege’s in like my mum did and it always tasted great. Every time I had a sleep over, I begged her to make it form me.

  9. For Sunday brunch, my mum made pancakes in the shape of Mickey Mouse. There’d then be a range of condiments – choc chips, pineapple, strawberry, ice cream, hundreds and thousands – with which to decorate Mickey. No matter how hard I’d try for a minimalist Mickey, he always ended up one gloopey – and delcious – mess.

  10. I loved fish & chips as a kid & I still do! Although sometimes it’s a bit like watching the Oscars, before you start you can’t wait but after awhile you’re wondering what all the fuss was about..

  11. Tuna Mornay. I only ever had it a child care and remember trying to explain it to my parents… they couldn’t understand me.

  13. As a child i loved Dads Sunday Roast! Yum! And it was the one time during the week that we were all together as a family 🙂

  14. Home style Southern Fried Chicken dads recipe, it wasn’t until I grew up and realized how unhealthy it actually is, so I only indulge when I go there and visit

  15. My mums home made shepards pie was my favourite childhood dish. Packed with mince and hidden vegetables and topped with mashed potato and cheese. Clever mum always found a way for us to eat our veggies!

  16. Anything that involved chocolate- chocolate crackles, chocolate mouse, chocolate spiders, chocolate sundaes. You could pour chocolate over anything and i would eat it.
